How to Share Your Wisdom
To help keep this space welcoming and manageable for both writers and readers, here are a few gentle guidelines for submissions:
Word Count
Aim for around 400–800 words.
(That’s enough to tell a meaningful story or reflection without feeling overwhelming for you to write or for others to read.)
Optional Photo
You’re warmly invited to include a photo alongside your piece. This could be:
- A photo of yourself now
- A photo of your younger self
- A picture of an Elder who inspired you
- A snapshot of something symbolic — your garden, your hands at work, an object or ritual that holds meaning
Tone & Style
- Write as though you are speaking to a friend over a cup of tea.
- No need for perfection — heartfelt is more powerful than polished.
- It can be reflective, practical, poetic, or story-based — whatever feels most natural to you.
Invitation to share further wisdom
If you already share your wisdom in other ways — through a blog, podcast, social media, artwork, or offerings — you’re welcome to include a link with your story. This is a space for mutual support, where we share not just our voices but also the pathways we’re creating in the world.
